Before launching Google Ads, we performed basic SEO optimisation of the website: added titles and meta tags (Title and Description) for all pages, optimised product categories, and made the necessary changes to the website code. This allowed us to prepare the platform for correct indexing and effective advertising campaigns.
The next step was to prepare and configure the product feed — a structured file with all the necessary information about products, which Google uses to generate ads in product campaigns.
At the same time, we set up tracking of key target actions. After consultation with the client, the main conversions were defined as: purchase, call, and callback request. All conversions were imported into the advertising account for further analysis, reporting, and campaign optimisation.
We also worked with the client to review the logic of searching for products on the website. We implemented the ability to search for spare parts by part code for a specific car model (for example, 020945415aa). This significantly improved the user experience and, as a result, had a positive impact on the number of enquiries, as selecting compatible spare parts by code is the most convenient and accurate method for customers.
We have implemented advertising solutions in Google Ads:
This made it possible to cover relevant queries for a large catalogue.
Together with the client, we optimised the internal search on the website, in particular:
This improved the user experience and increased the likelihood of purchase.
After a year of working on the project, we managed to significantly increase the number of targeted visits, improve the conversion rate, and optimise advertising costs at the same time. CHINA-OPT strengthened its online presence and confidently secured its position as one of the key Ukrainian suppliers in its niche.
